NATIONALS

NOTTINGHAM
3rd & 4th JUNE 2012

    The Nationals are coming up soon and this is just a few pointers about what is happening and some rules that MUST be followed:

  • 3rd June Team Event - Start Time 14:00, you need to be at the bowl AT LEAST half an hour before (13:30) to register

  • 4th June Singles - Start Time 09:00 an early start and you need to be at the bowl AT LEAST half an hour before (08:30)

  • 4th June Doubles - Start Time 10:15 approx (depending on what time the Singles end)

    • RULES:

  • CLOTHING - Only the new YBC shirts to be worn at all times and for ALL events. Other named shirts are no longer permitted at the nationals and you risk disqualification if not dressed appropriately.

    NO Denim or Combat Trousers
    NO Shorts or Leggings

  • The ONLY trousers permitted are: FULL LENGTH either Black, Dark Grey or Navy Blue, and for girls the option of skirts or Skort's (Black, Dark Grey or Navy Blue)

  • NO MOBILE PHONES, IPODS, MP3 OR 4 PLAYERS OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF LISTENING DEVICE IS TO BE USED ON THE LANES BY EITHER PLAYERS OR ADULT HELPERS/COACHES/INSTRUCTORS ETC. OR ANY OFFICIAL IN THE PLAYING AREA DURING THE TOURNAMENT. USE OF DEVICES ON THE LANES WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION (of team/pair) AND LOSS OF SCORES. ALL PHONES TO BE TURNED OFF.

  • Other than Tournament Officials and Players, the only other people allowed in the playing area are the Clubs Licenced: Coaches, Instructors and Helpers.

  • ALL Instructors and Helpers must also comply with the full dress code for players (see above) and must display their Licences and Instructors Badge.

  • Only ONE Instructor/Helper can be in the playing area for each pair of lanes at any one time.

  • Only licensed instructors with a current BTBA Licence are permitted to give instruction to the players.
